Association of Private Security Companies provides support in fighting domestic crime
Senior management of the Interior Ministry in the person of the Minister of Internal Affairs Rumiana Bachvarova met with managers of security companies and representatives of associations of the security sector, including our CEO Mr. Neofit Pavlov.
Mr. Neofit Pavlov and his colleagues from the association, stressed the availability of unused resources and organization that may be available to police forces.
According to representatives of the Association, they have over 28,000 security cameras in the country and a number of coordination centers CCTV. The Association explained that everyday crime also affects the activities of private security guards. Association presented the idea of cooperation with "Border Police" in the management and control of the south-eastern border, where there is increased migration pressures. According to the organization, last year 148 out of them perpetrators of domestic crimes, 10% were foreigners. Concerns expressed by them are to increase this percentage in deepening the migration problem, which gives a direct impact on business and private security guards.
For his part, Minister Buchvarova assured that the option for potential partnerships will be discussed as one of the priorities of the team of the Ministry of Interior to limit the everyday crime, along with migratory pressures.
